How much plastic is made in a year:

    Every year we are producing 300 million tons of plastic and 50% of it is used for single-use purposes. Also, More than 8 million pounds of plastic is dropped into our beautiful oceans every year.    

What is plastic made of? :

    Plastic is made of cellulose, coal, natural gas, salt and also crude oil. That is why plastic is dangerous to animals because it has coal and oil. Those are both not good for wildlife.
